Do you notice or reflect on:

  • The colors
  • The textures
  • The shapes
  • The flavors
  • Where the food comes from
  • Who helped get the food to your plate – the farmers, the pickers, the packagers, the grocery store shelf stackers, the check-out staff
  • The journey your food has taken – planes, trains, boats – to get it to you
  • Who cooked this food for you

Next time you consume, slow down, breathe and take a moment to reflect on the questions above.
