Shifting to a more plant-based diet can induce fear (kids, spouse won’t like it, will I get enough protein), boredom (ugh, just vegetables, really?) and concerns about how long it will take.

I am here to tell you that it doesn’t have to take long, it’s not boring, it’s sensual and delicious & fantastic, your body only needs 10% of its daily calories from protein & really – don’t be scared of failure!

1) Get Sensual: flavor, smell, colors, textures, in the store, in the spice cupboard, in the farmers market, flip through recipe books. Get your kids involved too.
2) Base each meal around plants: yes plants. Not cow, fish, processed carbs. There are lots of them out there – eat the rainbow!
3) Experiment: get over the fear – failure is a great life lesson – in fact people who succeed in life are comfortable with failure, learn from it and move on!
